Xiaomi is ready to introduce its HyperOS user interface in India on Feb 29, 2024. The Xiaomi 14, premiering the new UI, is set to be launched on March 7

The aim is to create a cohesive platform for Xiaomi’s wide range of products, spanning smartphones, cars, and smart home devices. With a redesigned interface, HyperOS brings significant enhancements in organization, intelligent multi-device connectivity, proactive assistance, and comprehensive security.

Built on Android 14 and leveraging the open-source Xiaomi Vela platform, HyperOS focuses on optimizing performance and reliability for smartphones and smart home devices alike.

HyperOS introduces several user-centric features:

  • Redesigned UI: Drawing inspiration from iOS, HyperOS incorporates familiar design elements such as a lock screen and notification interface reminiscent of Dynamic Island. Users also have the option to personalize Quick Settings and widgets according to their preferences.
  • Performance Enhancements: The UI offers faster boot times, improved app performance with enhanced memory management, and smoother animations.
  • Seamless Connectivity: HyperOS simplifies device integration, allowing for easy app transfers, screen mirroring, and shared clipboard content.
  • AI Integration: Leveraging advanced AI capabilities, HyperOS potentially offers features like text and image generation, image search, and text extraction from images.

Xiaomi 14 Launching in India Soon Additionally, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi 14 in India on March 7. The base variant is expected to share similar specifications with its Chinese counterpart. Featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate on a 6.36-inch QHD+ touchscreen display, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. Xiaomi is preparing to unveil its latest user interface, HyperOS, in India. The new UI was initially launched last year in China with the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. Following the launch, Xiaomi announced the gradual rollout of HyperOS across smartphones and tablets. As part of the rollout, the company is finally unveiling HyperOS in India on February 29, 2024.

Xiaomi launched its top model of the 14 series – the Xiaomi 14 Ultra handset-recently, at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona. During the launch, the company revealed the list of devices slated to receive the new UI update. Xiaomi announced that the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13T, Xiaomi 12, and Xiaomi 12T series will all receive the stable HyperOS update in the first half of 2024 (by June). Additionally, select Redmi models, including the Redmi Note 13 5G and Redmi Note 12 5G series, will also receive this update.
