What to Do If You Fail an Exam at Madras University
If students score 40 per cent or less in the final examination of a subject, they are required to retake the exam. Marks obtained in internal assessments will be transferred to the subsequent attempt, which must be made within the next two consecutive years. Students who have only one theoretical paper left to pass in their undergraduate program’s final semester are eligible to participate in the immediate examination.
