London will host the 2024 edition of the Mobile Gaming Awards (also known as the Mobies) this summer, marking the return of the awards ceremony for the second consecutive year. Established by the organizers of the Esports Awards and Matt ‘MobileMatt” Rutledge, the event aims to chronicle, acknowledge, and honor outstanding achievements within the mobile industry.
The 2024 edition of the Mobile Gaming Awards, also known as the Mobies, will be held in London this summer, marking the second year of the awards in the mobile industry.
Established by the team behind the Esports Awards and Matt ‘MobileMatt” Rutledge, the event was created with the aim of documenting, recognizing, and rewarding excellence within the mobile industry.
According to organizers, last year’s Mobies ceremony in Los Angeles attracted over 1.9 million total viewers and was broadcasted across nine platforms, with more than 1.5 million votes cast. It took place at the Infinite Reality Studio in sunny Los Angeles.
The Mobile Gaming Awards welcomed prominent figures and organizations from mobile gaming, esports, and other fields, with recipients including Marvel Snap, Andrew ‘Judo’ Sloth, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Additionally, the event featured a surprise accolade presented to S8ul Esports for their Global Impact on Mobile Gaming, acknowledging their exceptional contributions to advancing the industry.
Following the success of the 2023 event, which was hosted by Daniel ‘dGon’ Gonzales, Elyse ‘Herculyse’ Herrera, and Garrett ‘Shady’ Smith JR., this year’s Mobies will once again celebrate outstanding players, teams, media, hardware providers, games, events, and personalities within the esports, gaming, and mobile industries.
