IPL 2024 Schedule : All Team and Total Matches of IPL 2024

March 22nd confirmed as opening day: On February 22nd, 2024, the BCCI officially announced that the IPL 2024 will kick off on March 22nd with a match between the defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai.

Schedule for the first two weeks announced: On the same day, the BCCI also released the schedule for the first two weeks of the tournament, covering 21 matches across 10 cities.

On March 23, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season is scheduled to begin, bringing with it excitement, spills, and thrilling cricket action. There are two significant changes coming this year:

Ten Teams: Two more teams are added to the tournament, spiking the competition and possibly upending the long-standing favorites.
Sponsorship by Tata: Renowned Indian corporation Tata assumes the role of title sponsor, infusing the league with energy and newfound brand strength.
Ten teams will play 74 matches, so expect intense competition for the coveted IPL championship. Along with rising prospects like Prithvi Shaw and Ravi Bishnoi, established stars like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah are important players to keep an eye on.
