The Ministry of Education (MoE) declared that starting in the 2025–2026 school year, board exams will be held twice a year, with the top score being retained by the students. The National Education Policy’s (NEP 2020) new curriculum structure is complete, and textbooks for the 2024 academic year will be created. It said that at least one of the two languages that students in Classes 11 and 12 must study must be an Indian language. The disciplines that students can pick from in classes 11 and 12 will not be limited to streams like science, business, or the arts, in accordance with the new curricular structure.
