books-emoji For those aspiring to become engineers, the Joint admission Examination (JEE) is a very difficult admission exam in India. The two components are JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.

The first level, JEE Mains, is normally offered several times a year and is the entry point for engineering undergraduate programs at a number of universities, including Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs). It evaluates the candidates’ proficiency in mathematics, chemistry, and physics.

The second level, JEE Advanced, is only open to candidates who passed JEE Mains. It is more difficult and required for entry into the esteemed IITs. The exam measures conceptual comprehension and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on higher-order thinking.
